Getting Things Right - Right From The Start

GHP provides the following services on an individual project basis and under long-term business partner contracts, where we serve as an extension of the client’s production facility.

High Resolution Scanning

Using high resolution drum scanners, we create digital files from reflective art or transparencies. These files may be stored on virtually any magnetic media in virtually any file format.

Plate-Ready Files

Full prepress services, including loose separations to full page output with proofs (ink-jet or dot-based) are available. For direct imaging of plates we provide files meeting the requirements of virtually any CTP system. Most important, we provide the expertise to minimize output problems associated with pages before they are set in a final format.

File Modification and Image Editing

Our services include modification and editing, from basic size re-rendering to complex retouching and compositing. Files can also be converted from one format to another.

Our CGS ORIS front-end system, tuned by our professional color staff, provides the most color-accurate proofing system available anywhere in the industry, ensuring a consistent and reliable target for on-press matching.

Kodak UpFront Layout System and Stochastic Screening

GHP’s UpFront system improves efficiency and productivity in job design and engineering.

Stochastic screening produces better detail, smoother transitions, and greater print consistency on press, while avoiding moires.

Typography

We provide professional typesetting and proofreading services for everything from annual reports to product catalogs.
